Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker says Team USA head coach Gregg Popovich is doing a great job managing all the talent which is on the roster.

Walker is impressed with how Popovich is letting all the guys on the team play their game and not forcing anyone to change up their style.

“Pop’s doing a great job of letting us know he wants us to be ourselves,” Walker said, via Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press. “It’s been everything I expected. He’s such a great coach, a great guy. He’s the best.

“As a team, we’re getting better. We don’t have any selfish guys. Guys are going to make the right plays. We’re getting better each and every day.”

Kemba Walker is getting spoiled this year. He's getting to be around Gregg Popovich in the summer and then will transition to Brad Stevens when the Celtics' season starts. Both Popovich and Stevens are two of the brightest basketball minds on the planet.

Walker is a lock to make the 12-man roster which will compete at the FIBA World Cup in China. The three-time All-Star is one of the best point guards in the world.

The new Celtics guard has career NBA averages of 19.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 605 games. Walker put up 25.6 points and 5.9 assists last season with the Charlotte Hornets.
