The Boston Celtics take on Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, and Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving is not on the team's injury report after missing Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Irving didn't play versus the Nets due to a quad injury. The Celtics lost to Brooklyn by a final score of 109-102. Boston has lost three games in a row and is 25-18 on the season, good for just fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

In 38 games this season for the Celtics, Kyrie Irving is averaging 22.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game. The five-time All-Star is shooting 48.9 percent from the field, 39.7 percent from beyond the arc and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The Raptors and Celtics are headed in opposite directions right now, ahead of their Wednesday matchup. Toronto has the best record in the NBA at 33-12 and there is no dysfunction around the team.

Irving recently called out his teammates after a loss to the Orlando Magic, saying guys on the team don't know what it takes to win a championship. Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier didn't mind the comments, while Jaylen Brown said it's not just the young guys' fault, but the entire roster.

The Celtics were the preseason favorite to win the Eastern Conference this year. There's still time for them to turn things around, but let's first see how they matchup against the Raptors on Wednesday.
