The drama within the Boston Celtics continues to rage on after Marcus Smart decided to call out Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown following the C's monumental collapse against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Celtics reportedly held a players-only meeting which apparently, may not have produced the desired result.

ESPN's NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed that a players-only meeting took place shortly after the Celtics fell to the Bulls, 128-114. According to Woj, however, emotions were running high throughout, and that it was “not a terribly productive meeting, maybe not even beneficial” (h/t ESPN on YouTube):

After allowing the Bulls to outscore them 39-11 in the fourth quarter of Monday's matchup, Celtics talisman Marcus Smart did not mince words in his post-game interview.  He called out Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown for not passing the ball enough, which was a statement that caught a lot of us by surprise.

The Celtics attempted to resolve what appears to be a lingering issue within their ranks, but as it turns out, their players-only meeting may have backfired on them. It doesn't sound like a resolution was reached after the meeting, so right now, it's hard not to wonder what next step Boston will have to take to end all the drama.
