Before the Boston Celtics could face off against the Brooklyn Nets at home, Al Horford had to remind his own teammate Guerschon Yabusele to take off his warmer — a little too excited for his own good.

The Celtics ended up blowing the Nets by a score of 116-95. Eight players were in double digits for them as Kyrie Irving leading the way 17. They played a brand of very unselfish basketball and it worked to a charm.

Only five players from the Nets finished with double digits. Shabazz Napier had 10 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Rodions Kurucs had a career-high 24 points while shooting eight-of-15 from the field. Kenneth Faried had 13 points and 12 rebounds. Spencer Dinwiddie brought in 15 points, and Ed Davis brought in 11 points and nine rebounds.

The Celtics just outplayed Brooklyn on the whole. They shot better from the field. They had 10 fewer turnovers, 18 more assists, and eight more steals. They simply dominated the Nets.

On the season, Guerschon Yabusele had been in 21 games and has averaged six minutes a game on the back of Brad Steven's bench. He averages 1.9 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.

The Celtics are now 24-15 on the season and sit in the fifth spot in the NBA's Eastern Conference. They average 111.8 points per game, which ranks 11th overall in the entire league. Their defense is what carries them, as they only allow 105.6 points per game which rank fourth in the NBA.

The Celtics will face off against the Indiana Pacers next at home.
