Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving called game against the Indiana Pacers.

With the game tied at 112-all and with only seven second left on the clock, Irving drove through traffic and took advantage of a defensive lapse from the Pacers to hit the game-winning layup.

The Pacers tied the game with over a minute left on the clock when the Celtics were left scrambling for a loose ball. The match appeared to be headed to overtime before Irving stepped up for Boston to close out the game.

Indiana big man Myles Turner hesitated to clog the line, giving Kyrie a direct line to the basket. It was too late before they were able to recover on the defensive end.

Kyrie finished with 30 points, two rebounds, five assists and three steals. He shot 50.0 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep, all while hitting all five of his free-throw attempts.

With the victory, Boston toppled Indiana for the fourth seed in the loaded Eastern Conference. Both teams are tied at 45-31, but the Beantown squad have the advantage in their head-to-head record after winning their past two meetings.

The two East title hopefuls are slated to meet again on Friday next week, April 5, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indiana.
