Davante Adams had a breakout 2018 season that saw the Green Bay Packers wide receiver post career-high receiving numbers. And he is apparently such an elite wideout that Chad Johnson was touched spiritually.

A video surfaced on the internet of the former six-time Pro-Bowl receiver  in tears and gushing all over the Fresno State product's superb route-running abilities.

The bizarre video saw Johnson being Ochocinco. Many were confused and amused with Johnson's tribute towards Adams. The player in question didn't say anything regarding the video save for four laughing emojis when sharing the video on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Adams didn't have a hot start to his career similar to Ochocinco. His first four seasons in the NFL never saw Adams's receiving yards break the four-digit mark, but his catch percentage over the last three season have always been above 60%.

The previous year was especially good for Adams. He received his second Pro-Bowl nod and recorded an incredible 1,386 receiving yards. His receiving yards per game also spiked up from the 60's to an eye-popping 92.4.

His 2018 campaign was so impressive that he was named by Forbes' Rob Reischel as the second-most important player in the Green Bay Packers roster.

However, Adams has to prove to everyone that last year was not a fluke. He must maintain his intensity and continue to make Chad Ochocinco cry with his crisp route running. That is the only way he can fully establish himself as a star that defensive ends have to be wary of.
