News broke earlier today that Chicago Bears edge rusher Khalil Mack was being traded to the Los Angeles Chargers for a pair of draft picks in next month's NFL Draft. Mack, for the second time in less than four years, finds himself on a cross-country move between teams. In 2018, the now Las Vegas Raiders traded Mack, a second-round pick, and a seventh-round pick to the Bears for a pair of first-round picks, a third-round pick, and a sixth-round pick.

One former Raiders player seemed to not like the idea of Mack heading back to the AFC West, this time on the opposite sideline.

Hall of Famer Charles Woodson tweeted at Khalil Mack, reminding him that he still holds a no-trade clause and could spare his former team the agony of having to line up across from him twice a year, if not thrice. Woodson played two stints for the Raiders from 1998 to 2005, and again from 2013 to 2015. During his time as a Raider, Woodson had some instant-classic games against the Chargers, such as their 27-17 victory in 2013 where he would return a fumble for a touchdown.

Mack now joins a Los Angeles Chargers defense with the likes of Derwin James, Asante Samuel Jr., and Joey Bosa. With Mack and Bosa acting as bookends, it is instant nightmare fuel for the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Derek Carr, and newly-minted AFC West quarterback Russell Wilson. The trade comes as the Chargers look to maximize third-year quarterback Justin Herbert's rookie contract and bring another Super Bowl to the city of Los Angeles.

Something Charles Woodson would clearly hate to see.
