The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 23-17 in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs on Sunday and will move on to face the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round next weekend.

However, in what should be a time of jubilation for the Chargers, left tackle Russell Okung decided to take a shot at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell:

“Roger Goodell doesn't want us to come home,” Okung said, according to Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com. “That's all I can say.”

Okung was not happy over an offensive holding call against him late in the game against the Ravens, as it negated an 11-yard run by Melvin Gordon that would have put the game away much earlier.

Also, two weeks ago, when the Chargers were hosting the Ravens in Los Angeles, Okung was called for holding on an eight-yard run by Gordon with the Bolts in Baltimore territory trailing 16-10. The Chargers ended up losing the contest 22-10 and actually had penalties wipe out three third-down conversions in the loss.

Apparently, Okung thinks it is one big conspiracy.

Los Angeles won 12 games this season, but due to the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC West division by way of tiebreakers, the Chargers were forced to settle for a Wild Card berth in spite of tying the Chiefs for the best record in the conference.

The Bolts will now continue their road quest when they head to Foxborough to take on the Patriots next Sunday.
