The Chicago Bears have not gotten off to the start that they were looking for this season. Through the first six weeks of the season, they have a 3-2 record and have already had their bye week. Things don't get much easier this week, as the Bears will have a tough matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.

New Orleans has shown no signs of skipping a beat without star quarterback Drew Brees. Teddy Bridgewater has been getting the job done, but he hasn't faced a defense like Chicago's yet. However, the Bears are going to need their offense to step up, as Mitchell Trubisky is likely to return to the field.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at two major X-Factors for the Bears this week against the Saints.

Tarik Cohen, Running Back

Coming into the season, Tarik Cohen was without question expected to come through with a big year. He has been unable to live up to the hype and head coach Matt Nagy has not found ways to get him more involved. That has to change this week against the Saints.

Cohen has carried the football just 17 times for 37 yards and has also caught 20 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers are not going to get the job done. The 24-year-old running back is going to be a major X-Factor for this week and for the remainder of the season as well.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety

Chuck Pagano and the Chicago defense has been playing at a high level once again this season, as expected. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been a big factor for the Bears, but that has to take an even bigger step forward this week. Making plays in the secondary against Bridgewater is exactly what the Bears need.

So far this year, Clinton-Dix has racked up 27 total tackles to go along with a fumble recovery, two interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and two defended passes. He is one of the biggest playmakers in the secondary and this week the Bears are going to need to make plays on the football. If Clinton-Dix can come through with a big game, Chicago will have a good chance to pull out a win.
