Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker has had one of the best games by a kicker in NFL history.

He is the second kicker in NFL history after Greg Zuerlein in 2012 to make a pair of 58-yard field goals in one game following his huge showing in the Chiefs' win over the Chargers on Sunday in Week 2 (via ESPN Stats & Info).

Not only did he make two 58-yard field goals that actually counted, but Butker also made two extra 58-yard field goals that didn't count, first because of a Chiefs penalty and then as a result of a Chargers timeout to try to ice the kicker—which didn't work, of course.

The first 58-yarder was in the third quarter with three minutes left. The second one was the more important one, in overtime to win the game.

Butker is in his fourth year in the NFL, all with the Chiefs and helping the AFC West club capture the Super Bowl last season.

Justin Herbert and the Chargers nearly forced the Chiefs to drop their first game of the season, but Patrick Mahomes and Butker maintained calmness to win in overtime.
