As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for Sunday's big game, head coach Andy Reid is happy with what he saw in the team's final practice.

“They’re loose, to a point. They know the job at hand against a real good football team, but at the same time, we try to let our personalities show,” Reid said per Michael David Smith of NBC Sports. “That’s been an emphasis, and I don’t expect them to stop doing that now.”

The team was originally scheduled to practice at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami but instead had a short, half-hour practice indoors due to inclement weather.

With the Super Bowl approaching fast, Reid is just focused on making sure his players are comfortable and ready.

“I hope they get off their feet a little bit and enjoy their families, and then really focus in, get yourself going in the right direction,” Reid said.

Led by Reid 2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs powered to a 12-4 regular-season record and a fourth straight AFC West Division title.

After scoring a combined 86 points in their two playoff wins against the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs find themselves facing off against the San Francisco 49ers.

Known for the tough defense and potent rushing attack, Super Bowl LIV should be a good game.

The upcoming Super Bowl also offers a chance for Reid to win his first championship ring as a head coach. Reid won a ring with the Green Bay Packers as an assistant coach in 1997 and led the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance in 2005.

In seven seasons as the Chiefs head coach, Reid has compiled a 77-35 record and has made the playoffs six times.
