It looks like Josh Gordon is finally making his long-awaited return to the NFL. Almost two years removed from his last appearance, Gordon has been called up to the Kansas City Chiefs 53-man roster after signing a deal last week. Via Taylor Biscotti of The NFL Network:

This should give Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs a bit of a boost on offense against the 3-1 Buffalo Bills considering the lack of production they've received from their wideouts. Tyreek Hill has been one of the only bright spots in their WR group, collecting three TD's on Sunday in a 42-30 win over the Eagles.

Gordon may not be the same player of the past, but he's still an electric athlete who is more than capable of making plays downfield. Even Mahomes has the belief that Gordon can make an immediate impact for the Chiefs:

“I mean he works his tail off,” Mahomes said after Sunday's win, via PFT. “You could tell that from day one. I mean he wants to be in there. . . . I think he’s going to be a huge addition to our offense and it will help open up other guys as well.”

It's hard to know exactly what to expect from Josh Gordon in his first game in a Chiefs uniform, but it's good to see he's getting another chance to keep living out his NFL dreams. Hopefully, he can stay on course this time around.
