The Kansas City Chiefs have serious speed at wide receiver. If that much wasn't already obvious, the Madden NFL 21 ratings that have been released have confirmed that fact, bestowing a 99 speed to Tyreek Hill and a 97 speed to Mecole Hardman. (There is no 100 speed ranking.)

Not only is Hill the fastest wide receiver, he's the league's only 99 speed, in fact. That was not lost on him as he took to Twitter to celebrate another marker of excellence for the Chiefs.

From a Madden perspective, combining the blinding speed of Hill and Hardman on the same offense as All-World quarterback Patrick Mahomes is going to make for a nightmare for opposing defenses to corral. The speed of Hill and Hardman will likely lead to multiple go routes that end with Mahomes airing it out for either man to run under for the Chiefs.

That tactic is equally as efficient in real world football. Hill was selected to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl last season for the Chiefs, proving that when he is eligible to be on the field, he is as explosive of an offensive contributor as the league has seen this past decade. As for Hardman, his role is less defined, but it would't be surprising to see him take a significant leap forward in production this year as Kansas City looks to incorporate him more into the offense on the heels of a Pro Bowl rookie season.

All that speed is just desserts for Mahomes, who is not only the owner of the richest contract in sports history, but arguably the fastest receiving corps in the league with the Chiefs.
