The Kansas City Chiefs have been discussing a potential monster extension with star wideout Tyreek Hill, but it appears negotiations have hit a stall and now, they're willing to allow Hill to seek a trade.

Via Ian Rapoport:

It would be an absolute shame for the Chiefs to lose Hill, who is arguably the most electric wide receiver in the game right now. His ability to cook any defender in this league is unmatched. Patrick Mahomes will not be pleased with the fact that Hill could be leaving.

That being said, there will be countless teams looking to trade for the All-Pro, with the Chiefs expected to fetch a massive return. The Jets and Dolphins are two organizations who are emerging as favorites:

Wherever the Chiefs WR does end up, he is expected to secure a bag of money. The Jets are far off contending, but the Dolphins could be an intriguing landing spot. Kansas City will surely get a ton of draft picks in exchange for Cheetah.

The Chiefs offense is definitely going to have a much different look now. Hill and Travis Kelce were two of Mahomes' main weapons, but they're already on the verge of finding a potential replacement for Hill in Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who is visiting KC on Wednesday. The wideout played for the Green Bay Packers in 2021. The Chiefs did sign JuJu Smith-Schuster recently, though.

It's going to be very interesting to see where Tyreek Hill ends up.
