It looks like Kansas Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was not the only man who was happy about his record-breaking contract. Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was also ecstatic for his quarterback who got to secure the bag this offseason.

The speedy wideout shared to TMZ how he felt for Mahomes:

“I mean, hell, I thought he was worth even more!!” Hill said. “I'm proud of my boy, Pat, man! I'm really happy for him.”

“I'm proud of just the Chiefs in general for getting all these deals done, man,” Hill said. “Cause they understand right now is our time, like this is our window to be great, for us to build that dynasty and I'm just happy to be along with them.”

The Chiefs' front office also made sure that Mahomes gets to keep his supporting cast as well. They retained defensive tackle Chris Jones to the tune of a 4-year, $85 million contract. The majority of the Super Bowl LIV championship team is also set to return for the upcoming 2020 season.

The Kansas City Chiefs pulled off a comeback win to defeat the San Francisco 49ers, 31-20, in Super Bowl LIV to claim their first Super Bowl win in 50 years. A tougher 2020 season awaits the defending champions as most of the teams around the league have added more firepower to their respective rosters.

The Chiefs organization is locking in the services of their key players for the years to come. Money's not an object when the squad is committed to bringing another Lombardi Trophy back to the Chiefs Kingdom.

Patrick Mahomes has his contract, Tyreek Hill is happy, and the team is ready to compete.
