In the very first episode of his new podcast, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill already made some headlines with his latest comments on former Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes.

The first clip that made the rounds on the interwebs was that of Hill asserting the his Dolphins QB, Tua Tagovailoa, is actually more accurate than Mahomes.

But that's not all he said on the aptly named It Needed to be Said podcast. Hill was also vocal about what he wanted as a player – and that is just pure notoriety on the field. During his time with the Chiefs, Cheetah said that he could have done without the fanfare and the outside talk around the media. What he truly wants is the respect he deserves for his impact on the field.

“Look, this is what I want inside the building. I want [Chiefs head coach Andy Reid] to know that on Sundays, that defenses feared Tyreek Hill. That's what I want the head coach to know. And the head coach do know that, though. He know that without the Cheetah on the field, he know that, ‘Hey Pat, you're going to have a long day today.' Pat, hell of a quarterback, hell of a player. But sometimes I just want people to be like, ‘Hey, Tyreek. Him.'

It's certainly going to be an interesting storyline to follow for Chiefs fans and casual observers alike. Which party experiences a more significant drop off in production without the other? Will they both still thrive with new dance partners on the field? Those are questions left to be answered for next season.
