The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills played one of the most exciting games in NFL history Sunday night. In a back and forth game, Kansas City outlasted Buffalo 42-36 in overtime. But it was what happened just before overtime that has everyone buzzing.

During the final two minutes of regulation, there were 25 points scored. That is the 2nd most in NFL history in regular season or playoffs. The only game with more was in 2013 in a game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 188 yards and two touchdown in the final two minutes plus overtime. Meanwhile, Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns himself. That is astounding.

The finish to this game is easily one of the greatest any football fan will ever see.

Josh Allen found Gabriel Davis for a 27-yard touchdown with one minute and 54 seconds remaining in regulation. The Bills then converted a 2-point conversion, taking a 29-26 lead. Mahomes bounced right back.

He found Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill crossing the field. Hill did the rest, going 64 yards for the leading score. That left one minute and two seconds left.

Allen then came right back. After making a couple big throws and runs, Allen had his team in scoring position once again. With 13 seconds left, Allen found Davis open in the end zone for what should have been the game-winning 19-yard touchdown. It wasn't to be.

The Chiefs quarterback completed two passes for 44 yards. That set up a Harrison Butker game-tying field goal as time expired.

In overtime, Kansas City won the coin toss and never gave the ball back. Mahomes found Travis Kelce for an 8-yard touchdown pass, ending the game.
