Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are celebrating their Super Bowl LIV victory with a grand parade in the city premises. However, the MVP made sure that another great is celebrated during the parade.

It's been revealed that the 24-year-old Mahomes will be donning a Kobe Bryant jersey (via Bleacher Report). He shared a story of his getup for the day, and Bryant fans who saw his story were touched with his grand gesture.

He'll be wearing the No. 8 jersey, which was the time Kobe won three championships with Shaquille O'Neal. This may be a statement to the rest of the league that he plans to win more Super Bowls during the early years of his career.

In fact, Mahomes showed a bit of Mamba Mentality during the fourth quarter of Sunday's big game. It would have been easier for Mahomes to feel crushed by the San Francisco 49ers, but his incredible leadership helped the Chiefs finish the game as Super Bowl champions. There's no better role model for Mahomes than the Black Mamba himself.
