Chuck Liddell has been the latest combat sports personality to be arrested for Domestic Violence. Jon Jones was arrested a few weeks earlier after getting inducted into the UFC Hall-of-Fame.

TMZ first reported the arrest and has provided some information on the situation. Chuck Liddell was arrested on Monday morning in Los Angeles, California.

At the time of the report from TMZ, Chuck Liddell finds himself in a jail cell in LA. It was reported that the victim was his wife.

The couple had a verbal altercation that turned physical, that's when the Sheriff's department was called. Liddell's bail is currently set at $20,000.

Chuck Liddell was the UFC light heavyweight champion from 2005 to 2007. His title reign contained exclusively finishes and he cemented his spot as one of the greats in MMA.

His decline in the sport began in 2007 after he lost the title to Quentin ‘Rampage' Jackson. He would lose his next fight, win one, and then lose the next three by knockout before Dana White stepped in and forced him to retire.

Chuck Liddell would make a comeback in November 2018 when he faced Tito Ortiz at Golden Boy Promotions. He would lose the fight by knockout and the event drew a lot of criticism for booking Liddell.

Since then Chuck Liddell has retired but was still active in the combat sports space. He refereed the celebrity boxing match between Lamar Odom and Aaron Carter earlier this year.

More details are expected to come out on the Domestic Violence situation.
