The Cleveland Browns will have an uphill battle on Sunday afternoon when they take on the New England Patriots. The Patriots are undefeated and have looked impressive in most of their games. The Browns are going to have their work cut out for them to pull off the upset, but it's not impossible.

Let's look at two major X-Factors for the Browns when they take on the Patriots.

Baker Mayfield's Interceptions

Baker Mayfield overall is an important X-Factor, but let's break that down a little more. If the Browns want to pull off the upset, Mayfield needs to clean up the turnovers.

On the season, Mayfield has thrown only five touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The offense needs to move the ball and get into the end zone, but they also can't be giving Tom Brady short fields.

Brady can move the ball down the field, he doesn't need to be doing it on a short field. If a throw isn't there for Mayfield, he needs to learn that it's okay to throw the ball away. Early in the game, it would be good for the Browns to get Mayfield some easy passes and a couple of first downs that increase his confidence.

Browns Defensive Line

The biggest X-Factor for the Browns to pull off the upset is their defensive line. Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks of all time, but when teams have had success against them it's usually because of pressure up the middle.

When teams blitz Brady, he usually can pick teams apart. But if teams can get pressure up the middle only bringing four, Brady has struggled. Back in Super Bowl 42 when the New York Giants beat the Patriots, they put pressure on Brady all night from the front four and it really frustrated him.

This hasn't been a great season so far for the Browns, but the defensive line has been a strength all year. Myles Garrett, Larry Ogunjobi, Sheldon Richardson, and Olivier Vernon make up one of the best units in all of football. The Patriots' offensive line has been decent but not great, and it's something the Browns should be able to attack.

If they can get pressure early and often on Brady, it could really throw the offense off for the Patriots. If Brady is allowed to sit in the pocket and move it down the field five-to-eight yards at a time, it will be a long game for the Browns.
