The L.A. Clippers have added some frontcourt muscle after agreeing to terms with center Marshall Plumlee on a partially-guaranteed deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The youngest brother of fellow NBA bigmen Miles and Mason Plumlee spent his rookie season with the New York Knicks in the 2016-17 campaign but was bouncing back and forth from the team and the G-League’s Westchester Knicks. He was ultimately waived by New York back in July.

Plumlee had measly averages of 1.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in only eight minutes pf playing time last season.

The former Duke Blue Devil stalwart will be fighting for a roster spot when training camp commences. However, not much is expected out of Plumlee as only the third-string center role appears to be up for grabs with DeAndre Jordan and the recently-troubled Willie Reed way ahead in Doc Rivers' rotation.

Still, barely getting another shot at his NBA dream is already an opportunity that Marshall Plumlee is sure to take on any given day.
