The L.A. Clippers dropped another winnable game at home, this time at the hands of the Sacramento Kings. Following another disappointing loss, Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard urged the entire team to get things together now that the postseason is on the horizon.

The 112-103 loss marks L.A.'s second home defeat to Sacramento in less than a month.

As usual, Kawhi Leonard did his job leading the Clippers with 31 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Likewise, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell did what they usually do off the bench. Williams scored 24 points, while Harrell chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds. Unfortunately, no other Clipper scored in double-figures aside from the three.

Paul George continues to sit with his ailing hamstring, while Patrick Beverley missed his fifth straight game with a groin injury. Obviously, the Clippers are undermanned right now. However, this should not be an excuse for them to drop winnable games, especially with Kawhi Leonard and the great supporting cast they have on their roster.

The Clippers and Kawhi Leonard, on paper, are undoubtedly title favorites. Just looking at their lineup, it's clear that they have a ton of depth to support their two stars. However, it just has not clicked for them yet from a chemistry standpoint.

This is usually the point of the season where championship contending teams round into form. They usually use these last couple of months to gain momentum heading into the postseason. Kawhi Leonard knows this after leading the Toronto Raptors to the 2019 NBA title.

Nonetheless, the Clippers and Leonard still have a lot basketball to play this season. While health is obviously a concern for them, that's still not a considerable excuse.

Just look at the team that Kawhi Leonard left this past summer. Despite losing their two-way superstar and having key rotation pieces in and out of the lineup, the defending champion Toronto Raptors still find themselves near the top of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
