There have been some interesting rumors concerning Clippers guard Milos Teodosic. Some have claimed that Teodosic follows an unhealthy diet, eating cheeseburgers for breakfast. Surely, this is an outrageous claim. Sam Dekker originally started these rumors with a tale of how his first breakfast on the Serbian point guard went down.

As Dekker tells it, Teodosic asked for two cheeseburgers when it was their turn in the drive-through and was disconsolate when informed that the full menu wasn’t available at that hour. “The person in the speaker was like, ‘Yeah, we don’t serve those yet,’ ” Dekker said. “Milos was so confused. He wanted cheeseburgers so bad.”

NBA players are supposed to stay in top notch shape, and most players refrain from eating meat completely to keep their body healthy and fit. In fact, Teodosic is only listed as 196 pounds, so there would be a noticeable difference on the court if Teodosic was eating cheeseburgers for breakfast. Per The New York Times' Marc Stein, Teodosic shot down any rumors of him indulging in cheeseburgers every morning.

“ [That's] Too heavy. I can’t eat right away when I wake up,” Teodosic said as he forced himself to bite into his custom meal while we chatted at the team’s practice facility. “I can eat 10 times in a day, but small, small, small.”

Teodosic has performed quite well for the Clippers lately. He is averaging 9.3 points and 5.3 assists this season. As a matter of act, at 30 years of age, Teodosic is technically a rookie in the NBA and the Clippers are 18-8 when he plays this season. Still, he has enough since not to partake in cheeseburgers for breakfast.
