Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has rejoined the team after attending to a personal emergency earlier in the week.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Beverley has returned to the Orlando bubble. However, per league protocols, Beverley will be required to quarantine for four to 10 days. Given this timetable, Beverley will miss the remaining scrimmage games and possibly the Clippers' opening game against the Los Angeles Lakers on July 30.

For what it's worth, Lou Williams also went back to Orlando after briefly leaving the bubble for a personal matter. Like Beverley, Williams needs to quarantine, and according to recent reports, he is facing a 10-day quarantine “after picking up food at Magic City on excused absence.”

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers spoke about his players going in and out of the bubble, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

“Guys have life going on. You know, whether it be a family problem, a kid problem, a wife problem or anything, there's issues that come in these guys' life. We give guys days off all the time because of it, but no one really notices it,” the Clippers tactician said.

“But now when you are in the bubble, when you leave, it really targets it. So I think in a good way, the public actually sees that NBA players are actually human and do have regular life issues going on.”

It remains to be seen how the possible absences of Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams will impact the team at the start of the seeding games. Fortunately, it is not yet the playoffs and they still have a chance to knock off the rust when they return.
