More and more leaks are coming out of the Los Angeles Clippers organization after the team choked against the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2020 NBA playoffs, and the latest rumor is at the expense of small forward Paul George.

According to Ryan Russillo of The Ringer, George is not respected in the Clippers locker room by his teammates.

The Clippers and head coach Doc Rivers parted ways on Monday in a move that shocked many around the league. However, Rivers had failed too many times in the postseason since coming to Los Angeles, so it was time for ownership to move on from the Chicago native.

Paul George averaged 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for the Clippers during the 2019-20 regular season. Statistically, he played well in the 2020 playoffs, putting up 20.2 points per game in 13 starts at Walt Disney World.

However, all anyone is going to remember is George's putrid outing in Game 7 against the Nuggets. Not only did the All-Star finish with just 10 points and not score a single basket in the fourth quarter, but the Clippers swingman hit the top of the backboard on one of his 3-point attempts from the corner.

Could the Clippers actually trade George this offseason after giving up the farm to acquire him from the Oklahoma City Thunder? It's doubtful, but you never know what can happen in the NBA.
