The Indianapolis Colts are moving from the Josh McDaniels fiasco. The team recently hired Frank Reich to be Chuck Pagano's successor after McDaniels pulled out of the running to remain with the New England Patriots.

With a new head coach in place, superstar quarterback Andrew Luck had yet to chime in on the hiring of Reich until now. Luck recently spoke to Andrew Walker of Colts.com about playing for Reich and the new leader on the sidelines set to call the plays.

“That sounds great,” Luck said with a smile Thursday in a video chat with Colts.com. “I know all the best offenses that I’ve been a part of in my career we’ve not been static and we’ve attacked. And I’m sure he’ll have a great flavor and we’ll involve as many people as we can, and attacking defenses is what it’s all about.”

Luck's endorsement is obviously a step in the right direction with the face of the franchise approving of the hire. The 28-year-old also admitted to being excited to get to work with Reich, via Walker.

For his part, Luck said he was “really excited, and really happy for everybody involved in the Colts” when he had heard Reich was officially on board.

The real question moving forward for the Colts is Luck's health. Luck has played 22 regular-season games in the last two years with the Stanford product missing the entire 2017 campaign which has become a cause for concern in Indianapolis.

After being named a Pro Bowler in his first three seasons while leading the Colts to an 11-5 record with three straight playoff appearances, Luck and company have headed in the wrong direction. Luck played in only seven games in 2015 (2-5 record) and 15 in 2016 with the team barely able to stay above .500 at 8-7.

If Luck's shoulder injury becomes a persistent problem, the team might have to start considering going in another direction. The 2018 campaign could be a make-or-break year for Luck as he tries to get back healthy and build some chemistry with Reich.
