Indianapolis Colts left tackle Anthony Castonzo is going to weigh his future during the offseason and that could include retiring from the NFL, according to Stephen Holder of The Athletic.

It's worth noting, Castonzo is heading into free agency and most believe the Colts will offer him a contract, so it's interesting he has thoughts about retiring. If Indianapolis doesn't offer him a new contract, he is going to be in high demand and should get sizeable contract offers from others.

The Colts drafted Castonzo in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft and he has been a staple on their offensive line. Indianapolis has experienced struggles this season, but the left side of the offensive line wasn't one of them. Castonzo along with Quenton Nelson has been elite in both the run and passing game.

If Castonzo decides to hang up the cleats or sign with another team, it could leave the Colts in a lot of trouble. They don't have another left tackle on the roster that is worthy of being a full-time starter. Indianapolis would need to address that issue in the offseason whether it be in free agency, with a trade, or in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Outside of Castonzo, the Colts' biggest decision has to be what the team wants to do at quarterback. Jacoby Brissett hasn't shown anything this season that proves he should be the long-term option going forward. If the Colts can find a quarterback, they can be a Super Bowl contender but finding that perfect quarterback can take years to achieve.
