Parris Campbell was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. After a surprising season last year, the Colts knew that they needed to make some big moves this offseason. Even though a draft pick may not always be viewed as a “game changer” kind of move, Campbell is a huge addition to an already potent offensive attack.

Following his selection in the second round, Campbell talked about his fit in the Indianapolis offense in an interview shared by Colts.com. He seems to be very excited about his new situation, as he should be.

“I see a wonderful fit. Just being able to come in and impact this offense I think immediately. With a guy like Andrew Luck who can toss the ball all around the field, he is one of the greats in the NFL, I think it couldn’t be a more perfect fit.”

Campbell will fit in nicely alongside T.Y. Hilton and Devin Funchess in the Colts' offense. Indianapolis will also have second-year wide receiver Deon Cain returning to the field. The offense is going to be dangerous and adding Campbell just gives Andrew Luck even more weapons to work with.

Last season at Ohio State, Campbell caught 90 passes for 1,062 yards and 12 touchdowns. Those numbers show exactly why Chris Ballard was so high on the Buckeyes' star wide receiver.

NFL.com shared a comparison for Campbell. Percy Harvin was the name that came out as a comparison, which is a very intriguing name. Harvin was a great receiver back in the day with the Minnesota Vikings, but migraines derailed his career in a big way.

All of that being said, Campbell is going to be a big part of the Colts' offense right away and will be asked to help provide Luck with another consistent and dangerous playmaker.
