The Indianapolis Colts suffer another bitter loss to further damage their chances of finishing at the top of the AFC South. What makes this painful defeat at the hands of the Houston Texans more difficult isn't the fact that they lost by a mere three points.

It's the fact that there was a play that showed Deshaun Watson losing control of the ball during the dying embers of the game that is infuriating players and fans alike.

ClutchPoints shared a slowed-down replay of the controversial call that the game officials didn't find suspicious at the slightest. Based on the visuals, it was definitely worth a look.

It's been an undesirable motif this season for teams to gripe about the NFL referees' inability to make consistent decisions. Even Houston's own DeAndre Hopkins lashed out at the refs for costing his team the game. However, he didn't say a peep since this frustrating call was in his team's favor.

The only thing the Colts can do is move on from the loss and focus on their next duel against the Tennessee Titans.
