Washington Commanders team owner Daniel Snyder has been accused of new scandalous accusations by six former franchise employees earlier Thursday. Snyder then released a strong response to the claims made against him, via his PR representative.

The Commanders owner begins once again acknowledging the failures and mistakes made by him and the franchise in years past, apologizing for those. But then strongly rebuffs the claims made against him Thursday.

“The allegations leveled against me personally in today's roundtable… are outright lies. I unequivocally deny having participated in any such conduct, at any time with respect to any person. Tanya and I will not be distracted by those with a contrary agenda from continuing with the positive personnel and cultural changed that have been made at the Team over the past 18 months.”

During an approximated two-hour long roundtable with the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, the six former employees lambasted the franchise and Snyder.

Former cheerleaders Melanie Coburn and Tiffani Johnston claimed Snyder would hire and fire cheerleaders based on their looks. Coburn recanted a story where she and others took a trip to Snyder's home in Aspen, Colorado. She stated she was told to go to the basement and stay there and later learned that Snyder invited prostitutes to the house upstairs.

Johnston accused the Washington owner of inappropriately touching her inner thigh while at a team dinner. Later that evening, she claimed he attempted to lure her into his limo, only to be thwarted by his attorney.

Daniel Snyder and the Washington Commanders franchise has been under intense scrutiny for years after allegations have surfaced time after time.
