It has been a long wait for Team Liquid support Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in. Due to having green card issues, Team Liquid could not play the LCS Lock-In Tournament and the first two weeks of the LCS Spring 2022 Season with their full roster.

Due to Riot rules, a team could not have more than two imports at a time, and Team Liquid already has Belgian top laner Gabrial “Bwipo” Rau and French bot laner Steven “Hans sama” Liv. Because of this, Team Liquid have been playing with TL Academy Support Bill “Eyla” Nguyen. It seems fans will finally see the Team Liquid roster in its full glory this weekend as CoreJJ now has his green card, and according to Riot rules, he will no longer be considered an import.

A not-so-cryptic image tweeted by Team Liquid General Manager Kang “Dodo” Jun-hyeok confirmed CoreJJ's green card.

The tweet was then put into words by esports journalist Pablo “Bloop” Suárez concisely confirming that CoreJJ has indeed gotten his green card.

While Eyla has certainly not been underperforming compared to his team mates or role counterparts in the league, fans of CoreJJ and Team Liquid are still giddy about the fact that the entire main roster will finally be playing this week. CoreJJ's mechanical skill has awarded him international success, and with a squad as strong as Liquid's, it will surely be an exciting weekend.

CoreJJ has one World Championship under his belt, after he and his team Samsung Galaxy beat the then-defending World Champions in SKT Telecom T1 during the League of Legends 2017 World Championship. The SSG vs SKT T1 finals ended swiftly, with CoreJJ's team clean sweeping SKT.

Team Liquid having CoreJJ's tenure in-game is certainly a huge boon, but the other players are nothing to scoff at, either. Top laner Bwipo has had a stellar performance over in the League of Legends European Championship, with him even briefly role swapping to jungle. Bwipo was a pillar of his previous team Fnatic, and is sure to be the same for Liquid. Jungler Lucas “Santorin” Larsen and mid laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg need no introduction, as both have been prominent names in the LCS. Bot laner Hans sama was also viewed as one of LEC's best bot laners, with stellar performances all across the split with his previous team Rogue.
