Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch were both limited in practice on Wednesday, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

Cooper is dealing with knee and ankle issues and was seen limping on the sideline during his team's win over the New York Giants on Monday night. He is expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but he is not 100 percent.

The 25-year-old logged four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 9 victory. On the season overall, he has tallied 42 grabs for 701 yards and six scores.

Cooper arrived in Dallas last year, coming over in a midseason trade with the Oakland Raiders. In nine games with the Cowboys in 2018, he caught 53 passes for 725 yards while reaching the end zone six times. On the season overall, he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,005 yards and seven touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

The University of Alabama product spent the first three-and-a-half years of his NFL career with the Raiders, earning Pro Bowl selections in each of his first two seasons.

Meanwhile, Vander Esch missed the first game of his career this past week due to a neck issue, so the fact that he is back in practice on Wednesday is good news, even if it is on a limited workload.

Now in his second NFL season, Vander Esch has totaled 54 tackles, a half of a sack and a forced fumble in seven games. Last year, he racked up 140 tackles, a couple of interceptions and seven passes defended, making the Pro Bowl.
