Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is excited about Kellen Moore being promoted to offensive coordinator calling him a phenom.

With the team firing Scott Linehan the Cowboys promoted Moore and elevated former quarterback Jon Kinta to the quarterback coach.

Moore actually was the backup to Prescott last year and knew then just how bright of a mind he is. Often the Cowboys had trouble putting the ball in the end zone once they got the red zone, but that is something he expects will change under Moore.

“From the time he was a player to the time now, the things he sits over there watching plays and he will draw a play up, saying this is a complement off of that,” Prescott said via The Star-Telegram.

“That was the main reason I pushed for him to be the quarterbacks coach in the first place cause I knew the intelligence he had in the game, how smart he is, how creative he can be. He is a phenom when it comes to the game. He is one of these young phenoms in seeing the game, knowing where the game was and where it’s taking this transition into this new style of play. He sees it and gets it.”

The pressure is going to be on Moore, Prescott, and the rest of the offense with the news that the team won't be extending Jason Garrett. After making the playoffs this year, the expectations are going to be even higher so let's see if they can live up to the expectations.
