The Dallas Cowboys defense proved to be extremely bothersome for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is looking forward to bringing that same energy to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

The Cowboys' hounding pressure helped fuel them to a 20-13 win over the Giants. Lawrence said he is excited about the prospect of sacking Wilson in Week 3, via the team's Twitter account.

“The boys put in work tonight,” Lawrence said. “I’m just very proud to see all my guys come out of the game with a sack. It’s looking uphill, but we can’t just sit here and get satisfied off of sacking Eli. We’ve gotta do it again and go sack Russell.”

There is a good chance that Lawrence gets his wish. The Cowboys' defensive line has proven to be quite the formidable group thus far. They certainly proved it on Sunday after four of their members registered a sack. However, they were not the only ones applying pressure. Dallas also had their linebackers and secondary bringing the heat to Manning as well. The defense currently trails only the Chicago Bears as the NFL's leader in sacks with nine.

That said, it should not be too difficult for them to get to Wilson in Week 3. Despite his mobility, Seattle's inability to protect their quarterback has become a well-known fact through the league. The 12 sacks they have given up through the first two games currently ranks dead last in the NFL. This could mean trouble for Wilson come next Sunday.
