The Dallas Cowboys organization has been under scrutiny in the last few days. News about owner Jerry Jones paying a $2.4 million settlement to his cheerleaders amid allegations of voyeurism. Jones came out a few days later to defend the settlement, saying it was in the best interest of both parties.

However, newer and more disturbing details of Jerry Jones actively putting his cheerleaders in compromising situations came out. Former Cowboys cheerleaders came out in a podcast and talked about how Jones would treat them. (via Texas Monthly)

This Jerry Jones brought buddies to sip cocktails and leer at cheerleaders during their workouts. This Jerry Jones handpicked at least one cheerleader to accompany him on a trip in his private jet, where she was expected to wear the group’s famous, skimpy uniform and parade around for the boss’s guests.

The initial $2.4 million settlement was made by Jones and the Cowboys after Rich Dalrymple, a former team executive, reportedly spied on their cheerleaders. This was an incident that happened back in 2015, and the team did nothing but investigate themselves. Dalrymple also reportedly took upskirt photos of the cheerleaders, including Jones' own daughter!

It's a terrible situation amplified by the people upstairs not seeming to care. The Cowboys owner issued a statement saying that their cheerleaders meant a lot to them, but their actions (letting Dalrymple stay after the incident) betray their words.

“First of all, the cheerleaders are iconic. A vital part of what our organization is, the Dallas Cowboys. We took these allegations very seriously.”
