Dan Marino and Jason Taylor are two of the greatest Miami Dolphins ever and both seem excited about Josh Rosen joining the squad.  Marino and Taylor were both speaking at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where Taylor was hosting his inaugural Jason Taylor Community Hall of Fame Dinner.

Taylor thinks this is such a great move because they will get a year to test out Rosen and if it doesn't work out, they can try a different plan next offseason.

“I thought it was a great move,” Taylor said of acquiring Rosen via the Palm Beach Post. “You get a one-year look-see, see what’s under the hood. And if you don’t like it, you can change it.

“If you do like it, then you can change the tires, put some custom wheels on it, keep riding that thing out.”

Marino has spent time with Rosen and has been impressed with what he has seen, especially with how smart he seems to be.

Both guys are also thrilled about the way that the Dolphins have decided to rebuild, from the ground out and they think it can be successful.

“I look at it as, ‘Hey, we’re trying to be successful right now,’ ” Marino said. “Win games and compete each and every day and each and every week.”

If Rosen works out for the Dolphins that is going to really speed up the process because they aren't going to have to spend another high draft pick on a quarterback and can rather focus on other positions.
