After multiple delays, Elden Ring is finally coming. In just a few days, we're finally on the Elden Ring release date. Are you ready, Tarnished?

Elden Ring Release Date: February 25, 2022

Elden Ring has long been in development that fans at a time thought it was in development hell. It won't be until this year that FromSoftware would reveal when the game would be released. After a couple of delays, we now have a definite Elden Ring release date: February 25, 2022.

Elden Ring will both be a familiar game to previous FromSoftware titles, as well as an innovative one that goes beyond the current workings of games like Sekiro: Shadows Die TwiceElden Ring will be the first game by FromSoftware to have an open-world environment, as well as the ability to ride a horse! The horse even materializes beneath you, so no need to worry about the horse losing its way as you summon it. These changes convey how much different Elden Ring will be compared to previous titles. This is definitely ushering in a whole new generation of games from FromSoftware.

On top of this, the world of Elden Ring – and most of its backstory – was conceived by the mind of A Game of Thrones‘ George R.R. Martin, so you'd definitely know that apart from having great gameplay, Elden Ring will have an amazing story and world behind it. From all of the features and previews we've seen in the past couple of months, Elden Ring is really shaping up to be one of the biggest games of this year. Even if you're not a big souls fan, there's a vast world for you to explore and enjoy here. The world is amazing, and unlike other Souls games, oddly, feels alive and inhabited.

Elden Ring will be released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5.
