Red Bull and Mercedes continue their grueling battle for the F1 constructors' championship. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner reveals that there is no relationship between Red Bull and Mercedes, only competition.

Red Bull and Mercedes have been going at it since the very beginning of the F1 season. More specifically, through the battles between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. With three races remaining, the two drivers are only separated by 19 points, while Red Bull and Mercedes are separated by a mere 11 points.

Heading into Qatar, it is obvious to see that any lack of performance at the point in the F1 season could be pivotal to the success and failure of either team. Horner was asked if there was mutual respect between the two F1 giants, but he clarified saying that there is no such relationship between Red Bull and Mercedes.

Via Formula 1:

“There is no relationship, there's a competition,” Horner said in Qatar when asked whether mutual respect between the two sides has survived this year's relentless campaign.

“It's interesting to see how people react under pressure, how they react when they're challenged. It's by far the most intense political title fight we've been evolved in in our time in this sport.”

On the other hand, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says that there is a certain respect that Mercedes has for Red Bull—stressing as well that this F1 season has been extremely tough.

“There is a respect for the capability that Red Bull has, definitely. And it's clear that this is tough, it's the World Championship of the highest category in motor racing.”

With that said, it is safe to say that every single race from here on out is definitely a must-watch.
