F1 star Max Verstappen makes a hilarious reaction to being fined over $57,000 ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

After the second practice session, race stewards released an explanation on Verstappen's penalty, concluding a thorough investigation on this matter. Based on different sources of footage, race stewards determined that Verstappen was inappropriately looking and examining Lewis Hamilton's rear wing in the Parc Ferme.

The race stewards stressed that only assigned officials may enter the Parc Ferme and that “no operation, checking, and tuning is allowed unless allowed by authorities.

Indeed, the amount of 50,000 Euros (57,000 in US dollars) for the fine is quite the hefty one, triggering a hilarious reaction from Verstappen.

“It’s quite a big fine,” he said, “so I hope they have a nice dinner and a lot of wine. I hope good, expensive wine, that would be nice. They can invite me for dinner as well – I’ll pay for that dinner too.

“I do have to pay, so that is a bit less FIFA points for me, then, on my laptop.”

Aside from the F1 star's hilarious statement related to the penalty given, Verstappen seems confident and capable enough to bag his first F1 title amid his 19-point lead over his rival, Lewis Hamilton. While starting behind Valtteri Bottas at the front-row of the race, Verstappen must showcase an exceptional performance in Brazil to aid his team's goals of winning the constructor's championship as well.

Some may wonder, what's it like to have dinner with Max Verstappen? Let alone, with him paying for it?
