Week 4 of Fantasy Football has ended and as we move on the next week lets take a look at some players to stash from the Waiver Wire for Week 5 and beyond.

Fantasy Football Week 5 Waiver Wire Stashes

Quarterbacks

Sam Darnold

In Week 6 Sam Darnold and the Panthers will face off against the Vikings. Darnold exploded in Week 4 against the Cowboys defense which ranks 25th in the league. Darnold threw for over 300 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for another 2 touchdowns. He is available in over 80% of fantasy football leagues.

Minnesota's defense ranks 28th in the League and has allowed nearly 300 passing yards per game. Darnold has been on a heater and Week 6 should set up the fourth year quarterback for a big performance.

Running Backs

J.D. Mckissic

The Washington Football Team will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6. Two of the worst defenses in the league will lead to an extremely offensive heavy game. Mckissic has proven to be a more than adequate receiving back able to make plays when given the opportunity. Available in over 50% of leagues, Mckissic is a good waiver wire stash for this matchup. He has had two solid performances through 4 weeks and should have another good game against the chiefs.

Ronald Jones II

Leonard Fournette has taken over as the clear leading back in Tampa Bay, but Ronald Jones still has value. He was able to score in Week 4, and Week 6 presents a favorable matchup for the running back. Philadelphia's defense ranks 7th in the league but not because of their run defense. The Eagles have allowed over 130 rushing yards per game. If Tampa Bay is forced to run the ball, then Jones should get an opportunity to have a good week. Jones is available in 50% of fantasy football leagues. While he may not be the lead back in Tampa Bay he could have a productive Week 6.

Wide Receivers

Nelson Agholor

Nelson Agholor and the Patriots have been having an underwhelming season. But in Week 6 New England will face off against a Dallas team that has allowed over 330 passing yards per game. The Cowboys defense ranks 26th in the league and could be the opportunity that Agholor needs to break out. Agholor is getting the playing time and when the Cowboys go to New England he will get the opportunity to have a big game. Available in over 70% of leagues, Agholor is a sleeper who just might wake up in Week 6.

Mecole Hardman

The Chiefs offense is explosive. Any player that is on the field has a chance of scoring at any point, and Mecole Hardman is no exception. In Week 6 Kansas City will head to Washington and battle it out against the 29th defense in the league. Hardman is available in just over 50% of leagues and could have a big game against the Football Team. While Hardman is not a reliable start every week for fantasy owners, Week 6 brings a favorable matchup to a receiver who can make big plays.

Tight Ends

Zach Ertz

The once great tight end has seemingly been replaced in Philadelphia. But Ertz has not lost fantasy football relevance. Weeks 3 and 4 saw the vet post suitable fantasy numbers against weaker defenses. In Week 6 the Eagles will play the Buccaneers who rank 27th overall in defense. The Bucs have a strong front line but one of the weakest pass defenses in the league allowing nearly 340 passing yards per game. Ertz could have a game reminiscent of previous seasons if he's given the opportunity. If you need to stream a tight end, Ertz is available in nearly 85% of fantasy leagues.

Dawson Knox

The Bills tight end had a monster Week 4 and caught 5 passes on 8 targets for 37 yards and 2 touchdowns. He proved to be an immediate end zone threat and a favorite target for Josh Allen. Knox's momentum has been picking up. Buffalo will face the Titans and the 15th ranked defense in Week 6, but should still be stashed from the waivers. He's available in 80% of fantasy leagues and could prove to be a good fantasy football investment.

Defenses

Green Bay Packers

The Packers defense has been picking up steam, notching an interception and a fumble recovery in every game after Week 1. In Week 6 the Packers will face the Chicago Bears and the worst offense in the league. Justin Fields has shown flashes but he is completely unproven. The Packers defense should shut down this rookie led Bears defense. Green Bay is available in 80% of leagues and should be swooped up for that Week 6 matchup.
