In an official statement that was sent out on Friday morning, FOX Sports announced that it will be postponing daily live programming in light of the ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend production of out live FS1 daioly studio shows through at least Friday, March 20,” FOX Sports wrote in their announcement.

“Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.”

Sporting leagues around the globe have taken action in an effort to limit the spread of this virus. Earlier this week, the NBA announced that it has suspended the regular season until further notice. The NHL, NCAA, PGA and several others have since followed suite. The NFL has cancelled its annual March meeting, but the league has not announced any plans of postponing its season.

The NBA now has two confirmed cases of COVID-19. Earlier this week, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was diagnosed with the virus. His teammate, Donovan Mitchell, tested positive on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, this announcement from FOX Sports means fans of the network will be without some of their favorite television personalities for a while, including Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe — the hosts of Undisputed.
