Indiana “Froskurinn” Black took to Twitter to announce that her Riot Games contract has ended.

This announcement followed the conclusion of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. Froskurinn took part in Worlds 2020 as one of the tournament's analysts and color casters. Her particular brand of deep insight when talking about teams and players has helped her build an image of one of the most credible casters in the industry.

Froskurinn was a prominent part of the on-air team for the League of Legends European Championship. She joined in the opening of the 2019 season just as the league rebranded into the current LEC. Prior to taking her talents to the EU league, Froskurinn was an integral part of the english casting team of the Chinese LoL Pro League. It is no secret that Froskurinn was a big fan of the LPL region as well as their numerous talented players. Fans were surprised at the news that she would be transitioning to the EU league.

Fans needn't worry about Froskurinn's contract expiry.  There were no explicit announcements regarding Froskurinn's involvement in future League of Legends broadcasts. We can also hope to see her share her inquisitive casting and analysis in other professional esports leagues.

Eefje “Sjokz” Deportere, a long time host for League of Legends, also decided to go freelance beginning the 2019 season. Sjokz was still a part of the Worlds 2020 and LEC on-air team. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of Froskurinn in future League of Legends events.
