It's an exciting time for the New York Giants right now as the front office has made some brilliant moves to get the franchise back on track. Brian Daboll is doing everything possible to strengthen the core of the roster, focusing his attention on Daniel Jones. He brings in some extra help to develop the young quarterback.

According to Jordan Raanan, Daboll and the Giants are expected to sign quarterback Davis Webb. It's a unique signing, as Webb isn't known to be a great quarterback. However, he's familiar with Brian Daboll's system and should be able to help Daniel Jones now that he's with the Giants.

This is one of those underrated moves that typically fly under the radar. Daniel Jones has been a walking question mark throughout his career so far and Brian Daboll is giving him everything he needs to succeed. This is Jones' last chance to prove he can be a franchise quarterback for the Giants. It's nice to see Daboll giving him all the tools he needs to retain the starting job moving forward.

We'll see how this plays out for Daniel Jones. For the Giants, they're in a low-risk high reward situation. If Jones succeeds, New York has their franchise quarterback for years to come. If he fails, the front office will find his replacement in the 2023 NFL Draft. Considering how much of a role Brian Daboll played in developing Josh Allen, this team has to feel optimistic about their chances.

Look for Daniel Jones to improve this offseason. However, we won't know if those improvements translate to the field until the new season begins. Regardless, the future is finally looking bright for the New York Giants.
