The injuries just keep coming for New York Giants tight end Evan Engram.

A sprained MCL limited him early in the season, and now, Engram is apparently dealing with a foot issue, an injury he sustained during the Giants' loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, according to Dan Salomone of the Giants' team website.

Engram sat out New York's final offensive series against the Cowboys as a result.

Per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said on Tuesday that he doesn't have any extra details on Engram's injury and that the team will see how it goes with him this week.

Engram logged six catches for 48 yards in the defeat. On the season overall, he has caught 44 passes for 467 yards and three touchdowns.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Mississippi, was originally selected by New York in the first round (23rd pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He played in 15 games during his rookie campaign and was impressive, hauling in 64 receptions for 722 yards and six scores. Injuries then limited him to just 11 contests last season, as he snared 45 balls for 577 yards while reaching the end zone three times.

For the Giants, their Week 9 loss to the Cowboys was their fifth straight, dropping them to 2-7 overall.

New York had won two games in a row in Weeks 3 and 4 after moving from Eli Manning to Daniel Jones under center, but since then, a litany of issues have caused Big Blue to plummet back down toward the bottom of the NFC standings.

The Giants will take on the New York Jets next Sunday.
