Memphis Grizzlies forward Kyle Anderson channeled his inner Stephen Curry on Wednesday as sank four straight three-pointers in the third quarter against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. More curiously, he shot all of them from the same exact spot in what was some form of a consistent heat check.

The 27-year-old Anderson exposed the Hornets' zone defense and got stuck in the right corner pocket where he scored 12 straight points from deep to help the Grizzlies mount a huge run early in the second half.

Anderson really got the Grizzlies cornered (via NBA on ESPN).

Long-range bombs haven't really been a huge part of Anderson's repertoire but at the do-it-all swingman has proven he doesn't shy away from open three-point shots especially when he's on a roll. Through the years, Anderson has developed his game and has extended his range to help spread the floor for guys like star point guard Ja Morant.

In his third season with the Grizzlies, the UCLA product has been knocking down a career-high 1.4 three-pointers per game on a decent 33.3% clip. He's also been shooting more this season with 10.7 field goal attempts per outing, which is also a career-high. He is averaging in double digits in scoring for the first time at 12.7 points a game in what has been a breakout campaign.

After a strong showing in the NBA Bubble, Kyle Anderson has become one of the key members of coach Taylor Jenkins' roster this season as arguably the most consistent guy on the starting unit.
