Memphis Grizzlies multi-fasceted forward Tyreke Evans has started to draw interest from many teams around the NBA as this Feb. 8 trade deadline nears. Among them are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Miami Heat, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Recent reports indicated the Philadelphia 76ers were working on a trade to try to acquire the Memphis standout, but both sides couldn't agree on the Grizzlies' main compensation for his services — a first-round pick.

“It going to come to a team giving them what they want,” said the source.

Evans is having a career year with the Grizzlies, posting the best averages since his rookie season, averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. On top of his well-rounded line, the Chester native is also become a much more accurate 3-point shooter, making 2.1 treys per game at a 39.2 percent clip.

The 28-year-old has been riddled with injuries throughout his whole career and only played 40 games combined between two teams last season — a major reason why teams have been hesitant to let go of a first-rounder for his services.

The Grizzlies are reportedly looking to unload Evans no matter what before this trade deadline, so it'll likely come down, as the source said, to whichever team can step it up and meet the team's demand before it's too late to make one last offer.

Memphis is 18-31 for the season and well outside of playoff contention after losing Mike Conley to a season-ending injury.
