The Atlanta Hawks are one win away from making the playoffs for the second straight year. Now, as they prepare for their crucial clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Trae Young has a message for his doubters.

On Twitter, Young fired back at all those doubters who prayed for his downfall. The Hawks, obviously, struggled all season long and actually regressed compared to the 2020-21 season when they finished fifth in the standings and even made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite that, however, Ice Trae reminded everyone that they are still the same gritty Atlanta team that is more than capable of competing in the postseason.

Trae Young dropped 24 points, three rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Hawks to a 132-103 victory during Wednesday's play-in game against the Charlotte Hornets. He and the rest of the team didn't give the visitors any chance at all, jumping to a 32-23 lead in the first half and never looking back.

Of course the job is far from over for the Hawks. They still have the Cavs to beat in the play-in, and that's definitely a difficult challenge given that Cleveland also boast an All-Star player in Darius Darland and a deep roster headed by the likes of Evan Mobley, Kevin Love and more.

However, Hawks fans will certainly love Young's confidence. If anything, that's exactly what they need as they fight for the final playoff spot in the East.
