Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks may have lost Game 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers, but the All-Star wants to remind everyone where they came from.

The Hawks guard had a strong message during the postgame presser to put everything in perspective as their team heads to Philly for a do-or-die Game 7.

“This season has been a roller coaster. This team has fought and battled through a lot since the beginning. To be here where we are now, I mean a lot of wouldn’t have guessed we’d be here. We’re one game away from going to the Eastern Conference Finals, and we’ve got to go on the road and get it.”

The Hawks were trending towards another trip to the NBA Draft lottery. After a 10-point loss to the Miami Heat back in February, Atlanta fell to a 14-20 record and potential offseason turmoil. But the return of Bogdan Bogdanovic coupled with the insertion of Nate McMillan as the team's head coach sparked a spirited run that saw the team battle for home-court advantage and finish 5th in the East.

Trae Young knows his Hawks are playing with house money at this point. They aren't even supposed to be here, and yet they're one game away from the Conference Finals. But you better believe they're not cashing out just yet.
