With the trade deadline just a couple of months away, the rumors are starting to heat up. One name on the Atlanta Hawks roster who is starting to garner interest on the market is swingman Cam Reddish, who is enjoying a solid campaign after injury problems last season.

The belief among rival teams is that Atlanta will be looking for quite the return in a Reddish deal. Via Shams Charania of The Athletic:

Rival teams are expressing interest in Hawks swingman Cam Reddish, but those teams believe Atlanta seeks a first-round draft pick for Reddish, sources said. Reddish is averaging career highs across several offensive categories this season, including 11.1 points per game and 37 percent 3-point shooting.

Giving up a first-round pick certainly won't be easy for any organization. Reddish is playing 22.2 minutes off the bench in 2021/22 for the Hawks, giving them reliable scoring. He actually has a 23% usage rate as well, which is the third-highest on Atlanta.

Injuries limited Reddish to just 26 games last season, but he's now staying healthy and shooting the ball at an impressive clip, improving his three-point shot from 26% to 37% this year.

It's unknown if the Hawks would be willing to part ways with Reddish, but considering he's one of their leading scorers on the second unit, it makes sense that a first-rounder would be the very least Atlanta could accept in order to part ways with the former Duke standout.
