There's probably a party right now somewhere in South Beach after the Miami Heat took Game 3 of the NBA Finals in impressive fashion. The Heat had the Los Angeles Lakers shook almost the entire evening as Miami's leader Jimmy Butler notched an epic 40-point triple-double to lead his squad to a spectacular 115-104 win on Sunday.

All eyes were on Butler in Game 3 as the 31-year old clocked in another huge 45-minute game for the Heat as he filled the stat sheet and made countless crucial plays late in the game to keep the Lakers at bay.

After the game, Butler was all-business as per usual and mentioned that the only important thing to him really is the W.

“I don’t care about a triple-double. I don’t care about none of that. I really don’t. I want to win. We did that. I’m happy with the outcome.” Butler said as he caught his breath post-game (via Dime).

That must-win mentality was seen all-game long as Jimmy Butler and the Heat never took their feet off the pedal. They outscored the Lakers in all four quarters and made critical defensive stops whenever LA tried to make runs.

The missing piece tonight for the Lakers was their big-man Anthony Davis who has been key all series for the Purple & Gold. In Game 3, AD was riddled with foul trouble and couldn't get it rolling as he only put up nine shots and scored just 15 points. Davis also ended up with a +/- rating of -26 which was key for the Lakers' Game 3 loss.

Game 4 between Miami and LA tips off on Tuesday.
